Paired Axises Not Staying Paired??? < install Pro License file>

Post by PrestonE »

Well I am stumped.

I am finally back trying to setup my CNC router with Acorn and the Axises will Not Stay Paired.

This is what I am doing:

1) Open Acorn Wizzard
2) Click Axes Paring
3) Click Axes 4 paired to Axes 2
4) Click Reverse direction of 4th axis to Paired Axis
5) Write Settings to CNC Config
6) Restart CNC12 Mil V4.62 and the BOB

When I first do this and restart the BOB and CNC12 everything is fine.
The Axis 4 and 2 are paired and move in the same direction forward and
backward.

However, If I do an Estop or change to moving the X axis and then return to
moving the Y axises that are paired the paired axis or 4th axis becomes UnPaired

What could possible be Wrong???

Sometimes it will stay paired for hours only to not be paired with I restart things the
next morning, but most of the time it is only minutes of use and it becomes UnPaired.

I am using the CNCPC from Centroid as the Control Computer.

Attached is the latest Report.

Best Regards,

Preston

According to your report, you are running Acorn FREE. You need at least PRO to do software pairing. You can do hardware pairing with any level software.
Cheers,

Tom
Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Thanks Tom...

I had not seen that was Required...

Need Pro anyway as I also have a MPG from Acorn and I
knew that I needed to upgrade for that to function.
