Scaling issue when importing .DXF

Post by Eric V »

I exported a .dxf from Fusion 360. When I loaded it into
CNC12, the part was scaled. Original in Fusion 360 was 2 inch x 4 inches.
In CNC12 the part is 5 inches x 10 inches. Is there a way to correct the
scaling? (report attached)

For some reason, Fusion exported your part as metric and CNC12 imported it in inches scaling it by 2.54. Check your F360 units.
Cheers,

Tom

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for guiding me in the right direction. It seems when Fusion 360 is exporting
from the cloud, the units are metric. The Fusion 360 forum has some suggestions
I will pursue.

Thanks again!
