Another green horn with PC problem

Post by skookem »

hi guys ok read all the stuff that says please make an effort I've made an effort i searched here and a little google I expect this will be an easy fix for someone a little more PC savvy then me .. So i went down the road of installing software before plugging it then as you would expect had issue will IP address of the LAN port i tried to put it in still no comms .So I then chose to uninstall and go for fresh install while plugged in.
so during the install I get

" we noticed an existing installation of CNC12, please rename the existing cncm directory and run the installer again "

then when i try do the command line rmdir cncm rmdir cnct

i get " the system cannot find the file specified " and same issue again trying to install .i will post some screen pics from my phone in a moment

Ok me the wizard have already had a disagreement while running the spindle voltage out put bench test my first voltage was low like.25 volt and it said "voltage low make sure max spindle is set to 3000 and start again" but my max spindle speed is like 20 000 so do i need to just set it to 3000 to just configure the output and so it knows 1.6 volt out is actually 1.6 volt out then later i can match volts with actual spindle RPMs

ok on the second try i set to 3000 then re run spindle bench test reported the voltage back as prompted but we got only 3 out of 4 the 4th voltage read 6.8 V witch as it says is not within 10% of 10V
