Hi
I would like to connect my homing proximity switches as it shows on the attached photo. What is the difference between this setup and setup for ‘home all axis’ where all switches are connected in series into one input? Will this setup work for homing and will I be able to home all axis with this setup? Or perhaps will I be even able to home multiple axis together (x and y)

I don't fully understand all your questions but of course you can wire up your home/limit switches per the diagram, that's why Centroid supplied it for you. This of course uses 3 inputs for home/limit. If you series them you will only use one input. Some prefer each switch on it's own input but if you are short on inputs you can certainly series them on one input. Just be sure to use 24v when you series them.

When setup this way and the inputs setup properly in the wizard the machine will automatically home itself to the switches. This will be your home position and your limits for this end of travel. Then setup your soft limits in the wizard for the max travel. Simple enough?
