Re: NEED HELP - VCP not starting
Usually having to do with a corrupted file or anti-virus program holding the file open. Remove any anti-virus programs on the computer and copy that file from a report zip. If that doesn't fix it, reinstall CNC12.
Cheers,

Re: NEED HELP - VCP not starting
I suspect that it may have been caused by logging in to the computer remotely... When I reinstall CNC12 is there a way to get all my tools back. At this point I am bench testing so I don't have a lot of collateral but someday it would be nice to get everything back. I tried loading a previous backup but that didn't work

You just need to copy two files from a previous save report. The Tool library file (for a mill) is cncm.tl and contained in the c:\cncm folder. The offset data for each tool (Offset Library) is held in cncm.ol in the same folder.
These files are saved in the report zip, but are not restored automatically during a restore report.
