I have attached copies of the instructions for my spindle VFD and my Acorn wiring diagram.
I know that I use the H8 connections on the Acorn board but I am not 100% sure which Acorn terminal will go to which terminal on my VFD. Do I connect the Acorn "AN Out" to the "+10" terminal on the drive and the "AN GRND" Acorn terminal to the "VI" terminal on the VFD?
Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks!

Re: Wiring question
At a quick glance you connect AN OUT from the Acorn to VI and AN GND from the Acorn to ACM on the VFD. You'll need to change some programming parameters on the VFD as well to tell it this is that VI is the reference voltage. Is this a new VFD or are you retrofitting a machine that was already working? Posting pics and machine info along with a report is helpful to those trying to help you.

Re: Wiring question
Shawn,
Thanks for the help and the quick response.
This is for a new machine. It will be a 4' x 8' CNC Router. It is being built from scratch and based on Joe's CNC Evo 2.1 design.
It includes the following:
4 - Nema 34 9Nm Closed Loop Stepper motors on all motions with CL86Y Drivers
1 - 110V, 2200W Air cooled CNC spindle
I am currently wiring the panel while finish purchasing the last few items to build the machine. I will post some additional pictures as I go along. Looking ahead a little bit, I know that I will have a few additional wiring questions as I finish things up.
