I have made several attempts at doing a spindle bench test using the spindlebenchtest.cnc file, following Marty's video. The attached screenshot is what happens when trying to run the program.
I uninstalled the Acorn software (CNC12 V4.64/ Pro Router) and did a fresh install, same results. Any ideas?

Re: Spindle Bench Test
just as a follow up here is the report file after trying to do the test again, also when the screen appears the only way to close it, is to use the desktop icon. Cannot get back to the main page on CNC12, that option isn't available.

Re: Spindle Bench Test
hit ESC and the spindlebench test program will continue, you have RTG (Run Time Graphics) forced ON at start up... there is nothing to Graph in the spindle bench test program hence the black screen.
go to the wizard and change the RTG setting on start up to OFF, click "write settings to cnc control' follow the directions and run the spindle bench test again.

Re: Spindle Bench Test
That worked!
Thank You
Should the graphics setting be changed back to on, or left off?

Re: Spindle Bench Test
its a matter of personal preference, i like the g code view as the default view.
