Hi,
I've got a tool turret for a lathe which I've retrofitted with microcontroller control. It is able to select a particular position when the position is requested. I'm using an acorn controller. I'd like to have the acorn select the stations using a pwm signal instead of using 3 lines to send gray code. I'm going to need to use the 0-10 volt to control the spindle. Could the pwm output be configured to produce a particular duty cycle for different tool turret positions?
Thanks.
Are the 0-10v and the pwm output independent. (Resolved)

Re: Are the 0-10v and the pwm output independent.
PWM was intended as an alternative to analog. There is currently no way to use them independently.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for your quick response.
