I just ordered another acorn but just noticed what may be a potential problem. I'm using a KBWT-240 speed control to control a 180 VDC mptor.
The problem is I just noticed that the acorn only has a 0-10 volt output for speed control. I need a 0-5 volt output for the speed control. Can I use something like a voltage divider to halve the voltage or should I look somewhere else for a solution?
Thanks

Re: DC Motor speed control
Acorn will do 0-5 vdc analog out, no problem, just select which one you want with the Setup wizard.
PWM out is also now available as well for Spindle and/or Laser control.

Re: DC Motor speed control
Thanks Keith.
I looked on the features part of the website and I only saw the 0 to 10 volt spec. I checked the wizard on my milling machine and there it was.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
