Hi all.
I been having this error " ( open ) Error saving WCS information!" every once .. When this error pop up I have to restart the CNC 12 software.. any advice?

probably a sign that the CNC PC hard drive is on the way out. back up your cncm directory now and make a fresh report.zip

this error is either a missing cncm.wcs file for a corrupted one.

thanks for your reply. I've attached the report. I belive the issue is.. in the past Ive installed the CNC 12 router version as well as the mill version and Ive some conflicts, the mill version wanted to use the router folders, so i decided to keep the mill version but I belive there's still some folders for the router version of the CNC 12

fyi.. you can't use a mill report.zip to update to router cnc12 as per the instructions. do fresh install of router and it works. then in future you can use a router report.zip to update the new version of router cnc12.

I am experiencing the same thing and cannot figure this out. Any ideas?

please post a fresh report.zip so we can see your cnc control settings and error message log. please also post the offending g code program.

Hello Gansen,

Try extracting the contained files in the attached .zip into your C:\cncm directory and overwrite the file. Might be possible your file was corrupted somehow, however i could not replicate the issue after restoring your report.

Additionally, should look to see if any files in the c:\cncm folder are marked Read Only by windows or anything that may prevent the software from writing to the files.

I did what you suggested to over write that file and I am having the same problem.

I have changed to a different PC and deleted the cncm.wcs and this did not fix the problem.
