I am building a PM-940V with Clearpath CPM-SDSK-3421S-RLS motors and the Acorn.
So I purchased the lower 800/rev version of the sdsk motors. I used the clearpath utility to tune the motor to the mechanics and I am now at the point of setting the wizard settings in Acorn and looks like I need to set it to 1600 or better steps per rev. Is there a point by point instruction for the configuration in this scenario? Just want to understand what is the correct setup and how to get there.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Clearpath SDSK-3421S-RLS Wizard Settings
In most cases I would just set the motors and steps per rev in the wizard to 3200

I would also say that you will need to make sure the motor steps match in the acorn wizard and in the clearpath app.
The input step resolution can be higher on the regular 800/rev, the motor just will take 4 step signals for every unit of motion it is able to command. Won't be an issue at all, just won't actually gain any resolution. (and, given that even with 800/rev with 5mm ball screws each unit of commandable motion is about 0.2 thousandths of an inch per step (~6 microns per step), it is most likely fine for just about any acorn application)

Re: Clearpath SDSK-3421S-RLS Wizard Settings
Thanks for the replies.
I think I understand it.
Clear path utility and set the motor to 3200 and match in the acorn wizard.
I need to add the 100 ohm pull ups...
Easy business. Thanks for the assistance.
