This is the thread I started and I did not mark it resolved.
I have used HP brand of mouse and tried more than one.
In the spring I get really busy but since I see others noticing this issue I will try to get back to this soon.
I will post a report next time I test.

Re: Jog button in VCP sticks on <resolved>
I don't know how this thread got marked resolved but I have not been able to locate the cause of this problem.
I have tried different mouse, no touchscreen, no shuttlexpress, no windows updates helped
I have changed left mouse select button from double click to single click and the arrow move key will still hang if you repeatedly click it.
To get this to happen I just make short clicks of the z- arrow on the screen like I'm nudging close before switching to increment mode for fine adjustment
It does not happen every time but repeated clicking will cause the button to stay on and run the axis into the part.
I have run out of ideas to fix this. I'm going to try to find a PS/2 mouse and see if that works.

Added note
I have noticed if you click the arrow key when it is stuck on and moving it will stop
so if you are going to try to replicate this you must make sure it has moved and stopped or hung up still moving before pressing button again or you will cancel it without knowing. Be positioned away from everything if you try this. This will happen on fast jog also.

Re: Jog button in VCP sticks on
Thanks for the video. I saw the white box around Z- indicating a key press. But your cursor was still over the button. What happens when you just move the cursor off the button? Is it still stuck?

Re: Jog button in VCP sticks on
I went back and retested
It does not matter where the cursor is once it sticks. I can move it off and it will continue to move.

Re: Jog button in VCP sticks on
Hi, what kind of motors and drives are installed on this machine?
i loaded the report.zip on my machine and it does not exhibit the same behavior.
i've seen drives not setup correctly (wired and or parameters) act like this.
I noticed you have Z axis Direction inverted in the Advanced Axis configuration menu of the Wizard. why?
