Thank you Marty.. I've tried the db25 BOB and the communication with the gecko drivers works fine.. Don't know why the signals form the acorn headers interfiere with the gecko, but using the db25 they can talk with no problemmartyscncgarage wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 4:26 pm Use the DB25 connector. Connect using the standard schematic:

Your GR214V ground will go to DB25 Common pin 18-25
Do not connect the ENABLE on the drive.
Give that a try. It may well not be compatible with the signals on the Acorn header.
