:D Sorry I was thinking of a different component that has male prongs and was wondering how to connect them. Then I realized the controller was female.

Have the DB 25 break out board installed and wired. I have been looking at the S14983 wiring and the delta wiring and not totally sure if the spindle ok wire connects to the delta AVI terminal on the delta. Put power to everything so I could program the wizard, the stepper motors direction + and - was in reverse of what they should be. Shawn I will need help on the leadshine parameters you talked about. Haven't done anything with the spindle motor yet, tried to find the down load for the voltage test but I don't find it where the video shows. I know its there just have to find the correct file.

With the Acorn I purchased centriods vcp with windows and cnc12 loaded. I can not find the spindle bench test. I must need to down load that software but I can not find it. Can you send me in the right direction.

It might be in the cncm or cnct directory.
I went ahead an put it in the Acorn Knowledgebase forum:

The spindle bench test file should be in the C:cncm\ncfiles folder if you haven't deleted it.

I'll be glad to go over your drive settings when you are ready. We just need to be sure the settings on the drive are set the same in the wizard. You should not have had to change them if the old controller was working for you. You just need to set the wizard so it matches your drives, very easy to do.

Found the spindle test, thanks for the direction. Stepper motors were working, now when I went to do the spindle test I got a 406 emergency stop detected and can't get it to reset. Voltage is where it is supposed to be. Checked some of the things I found on other threads. Stepper motors are powering up when electric is turned on. Trying to remember if I change anything from last night to this morning.

Always post a fresh report.....

You need to check your diagnostic screen (toggle with alt i) and check the input assigned with Estop. Green or red?
How was the Estop input wired?

The longer I have the machine turned on the higher the in put voltage goes. After about 2hrs of on time I noticed 5volts raised to 6 volts. 24 volts raised to 30 volts. After 4 hrs on time 5volts has raised to 8 volts and 24 volts has raised to 41 volts. The machine is not on now. Unless my meter is bad something doesn't sound right.
