I purchased the USB Key for using Intercon offline about a year ago and downloaded the specified CNC11 V3.16 and never got it to work. I just took this up again after we moved to a now home and now I see that CNC11 V3.16 is obsolete. I downloaded the specified Oak, All-in-1, etc demo CNC12 V 4.16 and the same thing happens. No control panel shows up. It seems that the VCP is essential to work the software (e.g. - demo tool path runs) but I never see it.
I am concerned this is something like a damaged USB Key - I do see the key listed in Win10 Device Manager as: "SafeNet USB SuperPro/UltraPro" but the software doesn't seem to act any different whether the key is inserted or not.
Any thoughts?

Re: Missing VCP? for Offline Intercon
VCP is integrated in the PLC program and since the offline Intercon does not use a PLC, there is no VCP support in it, just like there is no jog panel support for the servo users when using the offline version. You have to use the virtual keyboard to control in both cases.
For the most part, the interaction with the USB key is transparent and you will only get a message if you try to create an Intercon program longer than 25 lines without the key installed. Fewer lines than that, and you don't need the key.

Re: Missing VCP? for Offline Intercon
Like Tom mentioned you won't get one.
BUT you should be able to generate all the Intercon files you want so long as the security dongle is in the machine.
