Just use the Centroid turning PP in Fusion 360. You will need to download it from the HSM database and put it on your machine.
You would really need to know what you are doing to do that part with the conversational program.

When you open the post processor in Fusion down in the lower corner you will see a hyperlink to the HSM library. From there you can search for all turning processors under centroid. There is only one Centroid turning PP.

I misspoke. It is not the HSM library. It is the Fusion post processor library. I was thinking inventor which uses HSM library.

thanks

i downloaded the .cps file centroid turn 2

i have a rear mounted quick change tool post

i have to change the post processor to reflect this
ongDescription = "Generic turning post for Centroid. Use Turret 0 for Positional Turret, Turret 101 for QCTP on X- Post, Turret 102 for QCTP on X+ Post, Turret 103 for Gang Tooling on X- Post, Turret 104 for Gang Tooling on X+ Tool Post.";

i presume i need turret 102

i opened the cps using a text editor but couldn't find which parameter to change

if you could help point me in the right direction that would be great

You don’t change the post processor for your tool/turret position. You enter the right turret number (102)
When you define the tool itself in the tool library, under the last tab (post processor), right below the tool number.
