Hi
This is my first post. I have next to no experience in electronics and cnc in general but can follow schematics. I have succesfully managed to be able to home my router which has clearpath servos and a c86 board with a rack and pinion on x and y axis with a 5/1 gear reduction on both axis 3411 elm and a 5mm lead ballscrew on z with 3421 eln motor. I was initially able to move the router with mdi commands but am no longer able to as error message 511 parameter missing and i have ran some mm acorn programs hovering over the table, my spindle does not turn on after a couple of tool changes. Thank you in advance for any replies and sorry for dumb questions which i am sure i will have plenty off
Regards marko

Re: Mdi 511 parameter missing
Looking at your file for MDI history file your are typing Go (letter o) not G0 (the number zero), that is why the error message 511. Any G or M commands it is always numbers, no letters after the G or M. The big mistake is using the letter o for zero.

Marko,
Download and read the CNC Mill Operator's Manual. Much of it still applies to your router.
