4.62 X axis backlash comp turned on - X axis runaway during park

Post by mantis3347 »

Hello,
FYI: I just added backlash comp to my X axis. Went to "PARK" the machine for the night and the "X" axis lost control but did not crash the machine. I turned off X comp under config/motor and Park returned to normal operation.

Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick,
Explain "the X axis lost control"
We need details about your machine, what type what axis drives/motors...pictures etc. basically everything asked of in this post:

ALWAYS post a fresh report.
See if you can recreate the issue.
Video clip would be great (upload to YouTube set to private and share a link here)

If the issue is repeatable, a description of how to create it, then it can be taken a look at.
Marty
