The new schematic shows the 100 ohm resistor on the enable as well for +5VDC.

I think I will continue to use C86ACCP from CNC4PC.com as it handles everything and Teknic reviewed it.

Thanks for dissecting the pictures.
The latest schematic showed 3 resistors per axis and in my "many permutations " I removed the enable resistors and the unused axis which I had placed for future use and still had no movement .
I too am considering a move to the C86ACCP board but the system is once again working in the interim and I have to complete the counterbalance mechanism for the Z axis.

I'll have to get additional crimping tools to do the Molex connectors before the move to the C86ACCP.
IN THE INTERIM I THOUGHT IT WAS A NECESSARY EXPEDIENT TO GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT THE VRS SOFTWARE SOLUTION IN THE TEKNIC MSP2.0 program that had been causing me " ERRACTIC BEHAVIOR" DRIVE FAULTS and the plunging crashes accompanied by the resetting of the home position of the Z axis.

The next version of C86ACCP will also have terminal blocks for cut signal cables. So no need for crimping unless you want to. It is due out in the next 2-3 weeks.
I will be testing it.

I had the exact same experience, I tried adding the resistors per the schematic but it resulted in zero movement! I've already cut the cable ends off, thinking I should have just bought the C86ACCP board...
Edit: Runs great in the original configuration (no resistors) for extended periods of time before I get the timing fault (typically on the Z axis)
Edit: problem resolved by adding 10k pull up resistors tied to 24v to the step, direction and enable terminals of each axis

Hi, I just did a conversion using Clearpath NEMA 34 servos and Acorn on a journeyman 425. It works great! I am still playing with motor profiles to optimize rapids but it does a nice job. My son and I made adaptor plates to fit the servos into the existing drive mounts. I gutted the entire machine and got rid of the giant electrical panels which really streamlined the machine. Is there a particular question you have regarding the install?
I also just completed a ALLIN1DC upgrade from the old DC3IO on a 5x5 router table. Love it!

Any thoughts on why the z axis motor would randomly disable and drop like a rock. But f I push on the Factory cable it will turn back to green and work. The fault is isolated the the z axis motor and I sent the motor back to the factor to be checked it was returned without comment. Fault usually occurs prior to homing. It would appear to be a bad cable or a bad motor connection. Any thought would be appreciated. Its not safe to leave it like this
