You need three normally open contacts in your estop contactor.
1 breaks the VFD Common
1 breaks power to your IPC-5
1 closes the NO Fault input to C86ACCP
My version is similar but has a couple differences:
1) If the VFD is 230vac (1ph), then both hot legs should be broken by the contactor
2) If the IPC-5 is run on 115vac (I prefer 230vac), then 1 set of contacts will work fine, if not see (1) above and use a smaller separate contactor
3) There is no logical reason to break power to the C86ACCP during an estop. I prefer to power it from the 2nd set of power terminals on the Acorn board. Acorn is powered up, C86ACCP is powered up.

There is a no fault input that needs to be shorted on C86ACCP. On contact on the Estop relay dies that

I do not power down VFDs. They take too long to boot up, I open the COM control wire which commands the FWD/REV motor direction. Centroid has been controlling VFDs that way forever.

Agree, if the device is 220/240VAC or three phase, ALL hot legs must be broken.

There are many ways to do things, but it's best if the users follow the Centroid schematics.

Gary, is there not a Centroid Schematic for Teknic servos/IPC-5, VFD, Estop Circuit with contactor??

I'm not home, can't easily look it up

Marty

Yes there is. It comes shorted from CNC4PC.

I'm sure they (Centroid) have schematics, but I have chosen to simplify the wiring on my builds because adding that portion complicates the process and serves no purpose or gain

My question about schematics was for the fellow looking for help.
Thanks Gary

That's comedy 😁. I understand that some components are a bit complicated for some folks.

I know they make the motor connections easier for my customers and give them the option to use properly cut to length landed wires in the terminals or plug directly into the minifit jr connectors
