MPG shows lost RF

Post by petkocabmill »

Hello,

I have an MPG that shows "lost RF" on the screen. I was working fine for a few days.
I installed new batteries. Checked the wizard that the correct model is selected. Pulled it from the PC USB port, restarted the PC, hooked the receiver to a different USB port with no luck.
What may cause it and how do I fix it?

Thank you!

The MPG does not like to be too close to the antenna. Make sure your MPG is at least 2-3 feet away from the antenna.

It feels like the receiver is having a hard time connecting to the PC. When I open the device manager window it blinks. When I pull the receiver out it stops... I may need a new receiver?

Unplug the transceiver from the USB port. Reboot the CNC PC. Plug the transceiver into a different USB port. Wait for Windows to recognize it.
THEN with your WMPG on, start CNC12. See if that helps.
