You need to be sure that cncr is allowed in windows firewall. Seems to need both public and private for it to work for me. Then try launching it again.

It's bricked. I've been running the beta for 3 weeks now. Something had to interrupt the firmware update. I walked away while it was updating cause I thought it was taking a long time and when I came back it had the message that it could not communicate with Acorn to hit any key to exit and restart. I did and it still wouldn't communicate. Now there is no heartbeat. I will debrick it tomorrow and start from scratch. Thanks

Hopefully you created a COPY of your working CNCM directory.
Second, PLEASE post the newest report from your machine. It can be found in your CNCM\CNCBACKUP directory.

We need to see if you have any communication issues that might have caused the problem during the firmware update.

Marty

Yes, I have two copies made. I will try to post the report tomorrow when I am back in the shop. I have been configuring everything for a week now and on and off and I have had no issues with communicating with the board. Had just ran a file before trying to update., Thanks Marty! By the way my board does have lights and ethernet light but ethernet is not blinking of course.

Also, you might pull ALL the plugs on Acorn except the power plug and Ethernet and see if you have a heartbeat on power up.....(Blue light to the right of the ethernet connector on Beagle Bone Green, pulses rapidly on first power up and then 1 pulse per second, the heartbeat)
JUST to be sure....

if no heart beat, just debrick it, takes 5 minutes and then do a fresh install of 4.6:-)

Well, nothing going right today. Here is the Report from beta that was saved before trying to update to 4.6.
HP Format does not work on my computers for some reason. That is running in administrator. Or it is not recognizing my sd card. Is there a problem with using Windows format to format MicroSD to FAT 32?
