You have to fix those errors. Look at VFD/spindle wiring, grounding issues Etc.

Post pictures of your control cabinet, maybe something will jump out.

OK. Back up and running. No problems this time installing 4.6. Here are pics you requested. Wiring not finished or cleaned up. Outside of cabinet is power contactor, 110v plugs for centroid and power supply for Clear Path. Clear Path module is powered from acorn PSU. Contactor inside cabinet is for VFD only. I used green for VFD common and all other commons are black. Only chassis ground is receptacle and Acorn PSU. Both contactor coil's are ran through switches on front of machine. I have yet to wire limits and touch off plate. I went through this morning and cannot find any commons that went to chassis ground. I will probably power PSU for Clear Path off top of power contactor for 220v fused (not installed yet), Also din rail fuses need to be mounted for inside cabinet. I also am running a c86 board from cnc4pc.

Let us know what you did to revive Acorn
Also, turn off the VFD and leave Acorn and the PC running CNC12 for awhile. Cut some air, check the logs frequently to see if you still have communications errors

I did and it was pages of errors for cutting air for 4mins. Someone else posted that they were getting the comm errors when they started running 4.6. I checked driver and up to date. I will probably disconnect everything and troubleshoot one connection at a time.

I am back up and running. Finally got the BBG board Debricked. Had to format my micro sd card on a different computer and then the BBG took the files. Reinstalled the BBG onto the Acorn board and powered on and had my heartbeat. Then reinstalled 4.6 and CNC12 started right up with no problems this time. A little bit of a learning experience, Still not sure what Bricked the BBG on the update the first time.

What likely bricked your BBG are those communication errors....I speak from experience....
