These videos were made for v4.5 but also apply to v4.6.

Acorn New System Installation Video

Update from older version...or from Mill to Router
1.) make screen shots of existing Wizard screens, make a fresh report.zip file
2.) rename existing cncm or cnct directory
3.) follow video above and install
4.) Use the new Wizard to set up the machine configuration, press write settings to cnc control and follow instructions, then install license file.
5.) If desired, copy G code programs, Intercon program, tool library, WCS file, any custom macros, from old cncm or cnct directory. reboot cnc12

found a crash when probing Bore cycle is finished and you hit ECS , this causes cnc12 to crash.. will have hot fix soon. in meantime use Rolands probing app as a alternative bore cycle. :-))

I had a heartbeat till I powered cycled, now no heartbeat. I have tried to reflash the board with no success. When I apply power with card in and user button depressed The boards power light comes on but the files do not load. The 4 lights do not light up at all. Here is the last report I had with the beta. There were none in the new cncm folder.

OK! Picked up a usb card reader and when I got home plugged into my office computer and the Hp format utility ran OK on that computer, was using an onboard card reader on a computer at the shop, reformatted and loade files onto card and the BBG took the files this time. Weird and I don't drink. I'll plug it in tomorrow and see what blows. Ha Ha!

Could there something on the new version that may be causing the 944 mpu request resend and 946 pc resending errors? There seems to be more of it in people's fault logs?
I'm not asking for help so not posting a report yet...
