Loading tooling with offsets

Post by RKM 3D Designs »

Hello all,
-I am having trouble finding how to articles on how/where to set up my tool touch off pad.
-using tool touch off pad to get tool lengths
-how to set offset lengths in cnc12
-how to put a manual pause in fusion 360 so I can manually change my tool and hit go and it be ready to mill the next operation.
-*** there are probably other things I'm missing in this line up of questions, all in all I'm looking for guidance, I can do the watching, reading, research, I just don't know where to start for good references. anything I look up it just doesn't show me how to start in cnc12

currently every operation that requires a new tool I find the corner of my piece with my KP3 probe, set all to zero, take probe out, load new tool, bring the tool down in the z until I'm touching the top of the work piece and then I hit cycle start after loading the process into cnc12, and then one more final hit of cycle start to start the machine milling after it has loaded the pathing.

any help or direction would be awesome.
