Configuration du driver

Post by Francis »

Bonsoir,

Here I receive Acorn Centroid card and I do test wiring.
The Software recognizes the card well.
I plugged in a Chinese driver (2H45B) but it doesn't work.
I do not found the driver manuel.
What type of driver should I declare in the log?

Thank you,
Francis.

use the DB25 to connect with for that drive.

On the wiring diagram The ena + and ena- outputs are not connected.
Does the Acorn card not drive these outputs?

try it first without the enables, once you get it working without the enable signal, then you can try to use the enable signal.

If I have understand the DB25 is used only for test.
If it is ok, i can use the connector H2 or H3.

As has been stated before, and as shown on the schematic provided, you need to use the DB25 connector to connect these drives.
Cheers,

Tom

We don't have to only use the DB25 for this type of driver.
I just tested it and it works just as well with the DB25 as the H2.
The Acorn board needs 5 volts for it to work.
Next step The Enable.
