What motors and drives are you using?
Attached is what I get when I try what you suggest.

Leadshine HBS1108S Drive and 86HBM120H-1000 Motors. What difference would that make?

Also attached report and schematics

Thanks

Like the software says. You can't mix HomeLimit with Limit All
I assume you have a Lathe installation and Mill Installation of the software?
I would imagine you are hitting the limitations of a number of inputs?

I wonder when you do the manual change from lathe to mill if you couldn't use some relays to swap inputs for you.

You have the wrong input setting for Input 1. Use "ThirdAxisHomeOk". Not the "limit" version.

That is how I have been running it. But, when you do that, it will not limit the Z+ travel and can allow a crash.

The issue is I want to Home Z+ but I also want to limit it. All the other limit switches are combined into a limit input.

If you configure the soft limits this should not be an issue unless your machine loses steps.
You will have to come up with another alternative or add a second switch to for limit.

Thanks Marty. I think it will be OK. The drives are hybrid servos so they shouldn't loose steps and if they do, they will generate a fault which will shut down the machine.

Then I would not really have any hesitation on relying on the HOMEALL function. I have used it ALOT with closed loop hybrid servo machines.
