Also should I connect one of the acorn com ports to ground
Right now its just connected to the power supply as shipped

Re: No step and direction signal?
Follow the Centroid Schematic for the G203V to DB25
IF you want to try and connect the G203V to the headers follow the legacy schematic which requires the resistors
Difference between the Header terminals and DB25 connector is that the DB25 pins are at 5VDC logic.IF you want to try and connect the G203V to the headers follow the legacy schematic which requires the resistors

Re: No step and direction signal?
The DB-25 breakout board is the best option. If you're curious, here is a simple schematic of how I wired a G203v using the Hx connectors: (Please note that the resistors are 2 WATT)

Re: No step and direction signal?
I used a old db25 end and soldered my own wires
I assume that the pin map in centroid 4.5 is looking at acorn

Re: No step and direction signal?
The pin numbers are what you pay attention to. If you look closely at your connector, each pin is numbered.

Re: No step and direction signal?
Can the DB25 be used with the V3 Acorn board? My Acorn does not have LED's on the inputs, so I guess it's a V3. But I have a db25 BOB. Which should I use? The H4 and resistors or the DB25.

Re: No step and direction signal?
Yes you can use the DB25 on a V3 board that is what I have.
The easiest way to get up and running fast, for anyone reading this, Gecko G540 to DB25. The G540 has DB9 connectors. You can get steppers with the DB9 wiring, and it almost gets to a plug and play system.
