Do not try and use the power supply that ships with Acorn for its logic power and try and drive an Estop contactor (or anything else other than perhaps Proximity switches or logic power to the axis drives). Its not big enough.
Better practice is to have a separate power supply to drive the Estop contactor or at least by a larger 24VDC power supply.

The contactor arrived today, the Teknic setup came last week, but I forgot to order a cable which is due to arrive next week. Then I start wiring it up on the bench.

I have ordered a separate DIN-rail mounted MeanWell 24V power supply for everything other than the Acorn board.

I have purchased that power supply myself several times.
Strongly suggest the VFD cable from automationdirect.com

While still waiting for the mill to ship, have wired up today the Acorn with the Clearpath servos. Everything worked well. Added the contactor, and three inductive proximity sensors (have an order with AutomationDirect.com for normally closed prox sensors, but while waiting for them, have used some cheapo eBay NO sensors I had). Have cut off the Molex and wired directly into the board. Will have to choose out some 6 pin aviation style connectors for the motor wires.

You might consider using Centroid's cable management system for your cabinet rather than installing bulkhead connectors for your motors. Its toward the bottom of the page: https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... nents.html
For these smaller builds, I buy one, and cut it in half. Makes it easy to run and secure cables. I have discovered these: HQ 10-Pin 5.08mm Screw Terminal Block Plug Shrouded Flange - Panel Mount
They make running limit switch wires easier and allow for the machine to be more easily disconnected from the cabinet

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look up MDFLY.

Today I finished wiring up all three motors. There was a little problem, as one of the motors would not respond to Acorn, but a phone call to Teknic's tech support promptly solved it. Very pleased so far with both the Acorn and Clearpath. Now I have the three motors running, with the e-stop, contactor and three induction switches working. Next I have to wait for the mill to see how all will tie together. Still need to decide on enclosure and cable management from the sensors/motors to the enclosure itself. Should be trivial, but as I have never done it -- it's quite a new thing.

What did you have to do to get the last motor turning?
