Check your post processor and edit the pause time. I just had to edit my Vectric PP, it was set for 2 seconds which was not enough time for my spindle to come up to speed. I changed it to 10 seconds which is more than enough time, but matches the setting on my VFD.

If your spindle drive offers an "up to speed" signal (sometimes called "at speed" or "frequency agreement"), then you could wire that to an available input, and use an M101 code (either in your CNC program, or in your M3 macro) to wait for the drive to report that the spindle is up to speed.

If your drive does not have such a signal, or you have no available inputs on your Acorn board, then you will need to use a fixed dwell time. Again, that could either be posted into your CNC programs, or it could be in an M3 macro.
