Thank you for verifying that your board does not invert the step signal. I hadn't even thought about that possibility until I saw a screen shot on this thread with the step signal inverted. I can see the need to invert the direction signal if the axis moves in the wrong direction, but I couldn't see the need to invert the step signal. Your post verified what the MSP software showed when I ran some tests.
