lost marker pulse with new version of software <resolved>

Post by spindle Nerd »

Hello i need a little help ,i updated to the cnc12 4.5 software and i have a issue were i lost the software stopped reading the marker pulses from my
servos DYN 4 's from DMM tech .

I copied everything in as before and installed the custom home file in the new software i got it from Marty a long time ago, its been working fine for
about four years now .

I have been trying to fix it for a couple days now the program puts out the right code and the servos hunt for it but can not find it ,i watched the vid that Marty put out on the Enco lathe and for some reason it is not finding them .

I would appreciate any ideas i could try

As a test, change the F3 in your home file to F1
Turn on the diagnostic display Alt i and try and home the machine see if you can catch the inputs the marker pulses are on triggering.

When moving to 4.5, I would take screen shots of all your Wizard pages.
Copy the CNCM directory over and call it CNCM - 4.xx
I would then do a FRESH install of 4.5 and use hard copies of your screen shots to hand key in the values...and then double check your work.
Takes all of 30 minutes tops....not sure if you did a fresh install or did an update or?
