I am looking to find the way for changing the dimensions of the tool in the library.

For example my cut off toll with 3mm blade:

Centroid doesn't care about tool dimensions; only approach vector and nose radius. If you use those tools with the Intercon grooving cycle, then you can enter a tool width there.

Hello Tom,

thanks you for the reply.

You mean for the cut off and 3mm blade contur tool I must create the groove wider?

Look at Intercon's grooving cycle in the manual.

Mathias,

The conversational (Intercon) does not have a field to enter the groove tool width. You program the width of the groove narrower than the drawing. You program the width of the groove minus the width of grooving insert. Since you touch the grooving tool of the front edge of the insert this side of the groove would match your drawing dimensions. For the side of the groove further from the chuck you would subtract the width of the insert from it. The program would show you are cutting a groove narrow than the drawing. With adding the width of the insert it will cut the correct size.
