I see a symbol on the operators panel that I have no idea what it is. Picture is attached.

Unknown? Really? I hope you are not trying to pull our legs :)

If you know what the Green Icon does that sits on the opposite site of this icon, well it does exactly the opposite :D

Like swissi I think the original poster is kidding. If not look at page 22 of the lathe operators manual. It means cycle cancel.
