Needing Pc Suggestions
Hey everyone I got 4 mills being converted to Acorn at this moment and I’m trying to see what everyone recommends for pc. I thought about nucs in them for the simple fact of dust dirt ect. They’re in a hot atmosphere building with a lot of going on around them and not exactly computer friendly atmosphere. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think almost anything that meets Centroid's spec works (which is the point), so you don't need anything special.
Im using this NUC and it's been flawless so far: https://www.newegg.com/intel-nuc8i3bek- ... A0S8HV5747
Comes with 8GB of ram and an SSD which are more than enough, definitely meets the passmark number, comes with a clean Windows 10 pro install, is super small and has the right IO ports, etc.
Plenty of people will tell you of success with old laptops and old pc's, which is all true, also.

Re: Needing Pc Suggestions
For those shopping for a PC these are great machines in a small package, they are abundant on eBay and your local Craigslist for $100 to $130. Whatever you buy be sure and check the CPU single thread rating on the cpu benchmark website.

Re: Needing Pc Suggestions
In general, most any Intel CPU running at 2.0ghz and faster should work. But DO check the single thread benchmark
