ok, thanks.
I won't bother with the enable then.
I'll try to contact dmm, and post back here if I solve it.
It's probably something simple and stupid I did somewhere.

Re: motor twitch on power down (dyn2/acorn)
My machine has the same drives and motors and did that too. It seems like it was a result of having the control and drives on the same power switch. When power is cut at the same time the Acorn goes off immediately but the drive power supply takes a few seconds to bleed down. My guess is this effectively leaves the drives floating without a control and susceptible to weird inputs or noise. Anyway, my solution was to wire a separate power switch for the drives and turn them off before switching off acorn. Works great.

Re: motor twitch on power down (dyn2/acorn)
I am unclear what the issue is. I have a Phoenix 2x2 router and do not experience what you guys experience.
However,
I power up my control and PC with one main switch.
Main switch immediately powers up the PC, Acorn and the DYN2 Power supply. I use an Estop contactor. That contactor does not apply power to the DYN2 drives until CNC12 is in the ready state.
When I shut down, I use the SHUT DOWN button in CNC12, and when the PC is down, I power down the main switch.
