I have a Windows 10 Laptop that I Think meets or exceeds the Benchmark information. I think I would only have to download software and disable anitvirus.

Attached is a picture of Acorn on the bench.
Was just looking at your picture again.
You have an older Acorn hardware revision.

Unplug the relay board and the +5V leg. and test just Acorn for resend errors.
Please make sure there is a jumper on the power supply from CHASSIS GROUND to COM.

I Disconnected the relay board from ACORN, removed the 5V wire from the power supply. There is a Jumper from the COM to the Chassis ground. I am still getting the "944 MPU requested" and "946 PC re-sending" call outs. I tried it with wiring the power supply with 110 and then 220 off the terminal board, both ways are giving me the call outs. Attached is the report if needed. After I made the report I connected the power supply back to an extension cord and its working fine.

Do you have any other PC to test with?

Will a Laptop work just for testing or should I use a desktop? I have both available it is just less aggravation to use the laptop. I was under the impression that laptops are not really suited for CNC applications.

For testing, try the laptop. Remember, CNC12 is going to assign a static I.P. address to it's Ethernet port.

You can change it back to DHCP after the testing

I tested with my Laptop and did not receive any errors. The report is attached. Acorn is installed in the Cabinet with cabinet power connected to Acorn, The relay board is not connected.

A laptop is not grounded while a regular PC is. That could point the problem to some ground loop issues between Acorn and PC trough the shielded network cable that impacts communication signals. Are Acorn and PC connected to the exact same ground?

I'm not an electronics expert but seen this type of problems before.

Did you leave it on for a while? Did you load and run a G code program for a while? (doesnt need motors to run a program, just use the basic bench test configuration)

Ok, if its been powered up for several hours, then it seems to indicate a problem with the PC
You could put it back in the cabinet, wire it up and recheck with the Test PC
