I pulled the Acorn from the cabinet and placed it back on the bench. I pinged both ip Addressed (computer and Acorn) and packets were sent and received fine. I tried to start CNC 12 with the original PC and it does not want to communicate. it timed out with the unable to establish communication message. I closed the window and pinged both IP addresses again and 10.168.41.1 was fine but the Acorn address (10.168.41.2) request timed out.
Powered down and connected a Test PC (laptop) with a fresh install. Acorn Connected with no problems and no errors in the log. Left it up for little bit and then shut everything down and the powered back up with no problems. I am going to leave it up for a little bit and see what happens.
Can the PC be working one minute then cause all the errors I been seeing next and then change to different indication on the next power up. I realize it is a Computer after all. Indication are changing so that is what the confusing point is. I think the plan should be install into the cabinet and start connecting items one at a time. then if i can everything resolved then buy a new PC.

Re: Unable to Communicate with Acorn
So, you started with a clean fresh install of CNC12 4.5 on the test PC and Acorn on the bench?
So, far, it looks good and no resends:

Load a G code program and running it, check the message error log after. Let it sit for awhile.
Check it after an hour or so, run the program again...

Re: Unable to Communicate with Acorn
Acorn has been up for a few hours with no issues so far. Report is attached. I think its time to start to put it back in the cabinet adding one things at a time and checking for erros using the test computer?

Re: Unable to Communicate with Acorn
Yes,
Put Acorn back in, with the cabinet power supply only, plugged into the TEST PC.
If no errors show up, then, start plugging in the IO connectors and keep watch on the error logs.

Re: Unable to Communicate with Acorn
All, I think we have finally put my issues to bed in regards to communication fails and resend errors. The Tiny Lenovo M92P that I purchased for my CNCPC is not up to the task. Even though I undated the drivers for the network adapter through the lenovo utility the network adapter just doesn't like ACORN. I shifted over to my brand new HP laptop and was able to systematically step through every step I was having problems with, no error codes and everything is working great! So now I am back shopping looking at the chipset list and benchmarks shopping for a new CNCPC preferably a HP and one that is not refurbished.
Thank You all for your assistance and especially BIG Thank You to Marty for all your help. I do appreciate it.

Generally I have had good luck with the M92P. It has an i5 running at 2.9ghz. But occasionally I get a dud.
Glad you got it sorted. Not many think about the PC causing issues....we take them for granted

Re: Unable to Communicate with Acorn
Before you toss it, install the Intel LAN drivers, rather than the Lenovo version.
