Hi there. I am right at the start of my CNC journey, converting an SX2.7L mill here in the UK. I am trying to source an Acorn board from RGB Automatyca in Poland, but they seem to only have the Rev 3 board, and not Rev 4. Is this likley to be a problem for me? Or should I search harder for a Rev 4 board (preferably in Europe so I don't get hit with additional taxes)?
Thanks in advance,
James

There is or was a firm in Denmark selling the Acorn board. I will look for the link.

Re: Acorn Rev 3 vs. Rev 4
Better for you to use the latest Acorn hardware. Improvement/enhancements have been made.

Thanks Marty. I put in an order this morning direct with centroid this morning. I just need to pull my finger out and get on with finishing the bearing blocks and motor mounts

Re: Acorn Rev 3 vs. Rev 4
Cool. You should be happier you chose to go with hardware revision 4, Though I use earlier revisions 1,2,3 just fine....
