Is Centroid coming back with software that will be able to import .dxf files?

Keith, I just got a response from the diysales mailbox and they said that the .dxf import capability will be incorporated into the next version 4.6. Is this true? If so when will that be released.

Thanks

Any update on hickory? I'm beginning to see "Inexpensive" Ethercat Servos and Drives becoming available.

I did install the BETA version and it did seem to import the file. The problem is it does not come in very well as gcode. Does autocad have to be set up a certain way to import smoothly?

Thanks

lets move beta talk to beta thread.. you'll have to post your .dxf file and screen shots for me to comment, in general the dxf file should only consist of Lines and arcs. if you have curves in the dxf file intercon doesn't know what to do with those!

Intercon reads DXF files up to and including version R14. At this time, only point, line, arc, circle, polyline and
lwpolyline entities can be used to create Intercon operations. All other entities such as text must be converted to lines
and arcs for them to appear in the Intercon Import DXF menu.
