Thanks Marty. Would it be OK to run two contactors off of one relay in parallel, or is that poor practice?

Reason being is I have an extra one of these laying around right now. https://tinyurl.com/yauh2qhz <-- 2 channel

Not a problem. Bottom line you don't want to exceed the relay's contact ratings.

You'll be fine if all you are doing is driving that double relay.

Are most folks here with CNC routers wiring signal for both forward and reverse to their spindle VFD?

I'll keep the newb questions coming since I'm on a roll. And I really appreciate you guy continually helping me, Gary, Marty, Richards, Tom.

M-Code or post-processor speaking, what's the difference between a VFDEnabled and SpinFWD as far as what the CAM system outputs? They both seem to enable at the same function (manually driving of VFD for example), yet you're unable to use both at the same time (the wizard throws and error). Can I use either output in my Acorn to drive the spindle function?

Use spinfwd for on/off spindle logic

Use spin enable to power a contractor to provide power to VFD. I use and prefer to use the no fault on multiple devices

Right-on, thanks Gary. The machine isn't much more than a bundle of wires, but it is working. I was finally able to operate the spindle RPM accurately from CNC12. It looks a mess, but has been super rewarding up to this point.

And Merry Christmas Eve to those that celebrate!

Without removing my gantry to weight it for Y-axis tuning per Teknic's directions, does anyone with a 48x96 SB have a Y-axis tuned config file they would share with me?
