Hello!
In the wiring diagrams +24VDC is ran from connector H9 to connector H4 to power the input circuits at H1 and H4. Is there a reason this power wire is ran external to the board and not part of the board?
Thanks!

The Acorn User Manual has an explanation. It allows you to use an additional power supply, if required by your devices.

We are collectively working on an Acorn Installation manual and hopefully, that information will be included for reference.

There are bits and pieces of information that help but it's kind of spread out. I make it a habit to save anything I run across. After a while, it helps.
