Ok. I am sure this is just a super simple thing but I can't find the answer. I have been bench testing my new setup. This is my first Acorn installation. When I press the "X" in the bottom lower corner of the VCP it shuts off the VCP. I assume. In any case it disappears. I can not figure out how to restore it. The manual doesn't appear to cover the VCP. I have to restart CNC12 to get it back. Like I said I'm sure this is a no brainer. What is the purpose of this feature?
Thanks,
Andy

Re: VCP Question
You could "pin" the VCP program to the taskbar, then just click to re-activate.

Re: VCP Question
The VCP is a separate application? I would not have assumed that since it starts and shuts down with the cnc12 application. So I still don’t understand the reason for the button. Is it shutting it down or possibly unpinning it and moving it under the main application for some reason?

Re: VCP Question
Shinosky,
yes the VCP is a separate app and clicking the x does what all Windows Apps do when you click it; it closes the application.
If you look at the executables in the C:\cncm folder. it's not difficult to find the executable of the VCP; it's called VirtualControlPanel.exe.
Just double click it and the VCP will restart.
