Hi All,
These problems may be similar to the post titled "Axis Motors Will Not Move" by Tim419 submitted 2 days ago on March 19 2020.
I am having a difficulty bumping Nema34 closed loop stepper motors. I have included the report.zip file in this post along with some photos of the setup. I also did my best to create a to-the-point video of my issues. Youtube link here:
Bench Setup Details:
Drivers: HBS860H Hybrid Servo Drive (no documentation available). To the best of my knowledge, these drivers are knock-offs of the Leadshine HBS86H drivers, for which documentation IS available - I've attached it to this post.
Motors: Nema34 Closed Loop Stepper Motors - Model: 86HBS120, 12Nm, 5.6A, 1.8deg Hybrid Servo Motor
Maybe worth mentioning: Drivers, motors, and power supply (220VAC to 60VAC toroidal transformer) purchased as a bundle from "Fast2Buy" on ebay.

Re: Axis Motors Not Moving - Bench Test
1) Provide schematic that you used
2) Disconnect the enable wiring
3) Make sure step pulse rate is set to 100K
4) If the above 3 don't solve issue, then connect to the DB25 header (inverted)

Re: Axis Motors Not Moving - Bench Test
All - just wanted to report the issue has been resolved. A very silly mistake on my part. As I was wiring/rewiring the drives to test different wiring, I'd mistakenly swapped the step and direction signals.... the little bump/step when switching directions clued me into this.... eventually.
Thanks and sorry for the mistake.
Adam
