I followed the probe setup guide. I have a normally closed touch probe (Hallmark ITTP) connected to INPUT6, probe detect on INPUT40. In the connector for the probe, the probe detect pin is connected to COM. When the probe is tripped INPUT6 and INPUT40 both change state. I have INPUT6 is ProbeTriggered, INPUT40 is ProbeDetect.
As a test, I connected a different common to INPUT40 and the probe works as it should. I did verify there's a solid connection in the probe connector between the two pins that make up the probe detect circuit. It has <1 ohm. It's like the two circuits are interacting or something. I am using an input on the ETHER1616 for the ProbeDetect.

Re: Probe detect input turns off when probe is triggered
Disregard.. I figured it out.. Wrong two pins shorted in the connector for the ProbeDetect.
