COM wire connections

Hi Marty
I watched a video yesterday from you at YOUTUBE and I saw you make the connections from the power supply to the Acorn and to the E stop switch and for the power supply for the servo drive, and you connected all COM together and used a block, I have problem before with my cnc control that when I turn the power off the servo jump the position, I don't know If you remember, I send to you a video before on YOUTUBE.
But after I watched your video I when take look my connections and I saw that I not connect all the COM together like you did, from the COM of Acorn power supply you put a jump wire to the drive power supply and to the connection block.
Do you think because I not did the same may cause the problem? If yes let me know please and I change the wires because I put a switch between the power supply and the driver for me turn the power off the drive before turn the power off on Acorn board.

post a photo of your setup, what kind of motors and drives are you using, link to the manual? etc..

Wagner, did you ever consult with DMM about this problem?
I believe they were aware of the lurch but may have corrected it with a firmware update. But I only experience this on power up not power down.
