If "increment" is less than depth, then it will peck tap.

BTW, McMaster sells machinable wax in small pieces https://www.mcmaster.com/machinable-wax

I've got Intercon Lathe 4.20 and don't have the Increment option available. I am not sure why.

Oops. That was my mistake. I forgot we were talking about a lathe. That image is from Intercon Mill and you are correct that Intercon Lathe does not have a peck option.

@CNCKeith - is there a reason why Intercon Lathe doesn't have a peck tapping cycle? Or are bruiz and I missing something?
Cheers,

Tom

In the video I posted, in the other thread (viewtopic.php?f=60&t=4009) I just "stacked" two tapping cycles and it threaded like peck tapping. The first tapping cycle is to 0.250 and the second tapping cycle is to 0.500. Works fine. A "peck" option would be nice, though.
