Custom CNC Plasma/Router - From scratch

we are working on the Acorn CNC router version of CNC12 with PWM support for lasers and BLDC spindle motors AND CNC12 release for Oak, Allin1dc with Acorn like software levels. once those two projects are finished we are going full steam ahead on plasma, we have a plasma machine in house and running xyz motion with Acorn right now. attached is the draft specifications for the plasma requirements, feel free to comment and help with the development of plasma support with Acorn.

Its being tested now. How close are you to being ready to test your drive/motor?

I am finalising the motor and controller purchase right now, it is what lead me to these forums. My mill is quite small and I much rather use a BLDC motor but had been worried when everyone was recommending to stick with a VFD.
