I want to run 2 copies of CNC12/Acorn on the same PC. Can the default IP on the Acorn be changed?

I'm not ignoring your actual question, but there are a few threads showing how to do this. A quick search should find them. Answer is no, but there is a workaround

As Gary says, you can have multiple Acorn installations on the same PC to run different machines. You have to choose which machine to run, then change some directory names before starting CNC12.

You cannot run two machines at the same time on a single PC, which I think you are implying by asking to address individual Acorn boards separately.
Cheers,

Tom

Sorry for the long delay. I did get around the issue by inserting a two position pushbutton ethernet switch between the computer and the two Acorn boards. Push the button labeled Lathe and start CNCT, push button labeled Mill and start CNCM.
