I've not had chance to look because I'm not with the machine at the moment and I thought that it might be wroth an ask if any one has any knowledge if Lathe Acorn / intercon /cnc12 would be able to produce a flat spiral scroll, basically a square section screw thread synchronisation on the X axis.
The simple solution would be to use a mill but its not what a friend has asked for...
I'm not expecting it to be able to do it but if it does have the capability that would be fantastic to know.

Cheers,

Confidence is the feeling you have before you fully understand the situation.
I have CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are where they should be.

Ah great, thanks! I must have been searching only in the Acorn forum.
